I’ve started on this months challenges at Elemental Scraps and this is my layout for the template challenge with Chrissy W.  I love her templates and this one did not dissapoint! I also used Miss Tiina’s Little Things Kit (Click LO for Credits)

This is my daughter.  It was her birthday and we were doing her annual cake bake!  Every year she and I bake and decorate her birthday cake. Yes even for her first birthday  she helped by licking the spoon clean lol.  I love doing this with her and it helps her feel extra special on her extra special day.  This time my Mom joined in the fun and Kaitlyn didn’t want to share the cake batter!  The nerve!

My poor hubby got laid off Monday but fortunately he went to update his drug card and turned in his layoff slip (he is a Union Electrical Apprentice)  and they already had a job waiting for him.  This is a huge relief the way the economy is.  He is outside in the frigid weather now but we are thankful for the work!

It warms my heart to go pick my kids up from daycare and see their smiling faces.  They are so happy to see me that it makes my long day seem brighter.  I wish I didn’t have to put them in daycare, but we have to eat.  *sigh*  I would so be a SAHM!

OK enough radom rambling.  Let me share a not so funny.

My 3 year old DD and I were discussing her little brother and the conversation goes like this
Me: “Do you remember when bubby was in Mommy’s belly?”
DD: “What?” …this is her typical response to anything
Me: “Do you remember when bubby was in Mommy’s belly and is was really big?”

DD: “But Mommy you have a big belly now!”

ok, leave it to a three year old to be brutally honest.
